Antique silver theca case 1,5 inches high (4cm) plus it's hanging hook which contains a Holy Cross relic.

Oval silver case, the interior compartment is under glass on a faded red cloth background. 

The Cross relic is composed of tiny splinters of wood which form the cross symbol on a white backing. 

The label placed under the relic is very faded with age and difficult to read but the tiny hand written ink text in Latin seems to read as: 

  " De Santissima Cruce Domini Nostri Jesu Christo " -  From The Holy Cross Of Our Lord Jesus Christ.

The back case cover can be removed to view the red string seals and the official red wax Church seal with Bishop's coat of arms stem to certify the authenticity of the relic. All are in place and intact.

Antique silver cross reliquary over 100 years old in good condition with minor signs of wear and age, some stains in the interior under the glass.
