A perfectly proportioned and decorated Acoma Jar with nice indented base.  The “negative” painted surface of curvilinear designs against the unusual black background is exceptional.  This is an early Jar which was a perfect size for shipping back home after visiting the Southwest via the railroad.

Measures approximately 5” D x 3.5” H.  Historic, circa 1900-1940.  Fresh to the marketplace.
