KISS collectors will recognize these as one of the hardest to get items due to the fact that almost all were worn and probably worn out and discarded.
Posters , records , ticket stubs etc , were kept, so there are plenty of them still in existence.
The museum's pair are second hand and well worn.
They originally came in 3 colors, Red, Blue, and Brown. These are the Blue version.
The briefs were never worn , still new and in the original packaging , including the tape that was used to close the packaging, (now old and discolored). There is a fair amount of scuffing and ink marking on the front of pack and in the bottom corner a small tear in plastic (see Photo).
The briefs are unnaffected but there does seem to be a bit of "bleed" of red section
These are being sold as a collectors item , for show purposes , as they are probably not really suitable for wearing due to their age, having been made somewhere between 1975 and 1978 !
I didn't have any of the red ones , just the blue and brown ones which I sold on ebay last year. I thought it was the last of them .... but
These last two pairs turned up unexpectedly a few weeks ago.
My brother in law had given his mate these 2 pairs many years ago, and when he recently found out about the sale last year, returned these two pairs back to him.

One of the most sought after and rarely seen KISS items . These are the last pair and in an adult size.
