Lot consists of an Original, 1980, 23rd - XIII - Olympic Winter Games - Lake Placid - (N.Y.) - Bumper Sticker. The sticker comes in unused condition with it's original, peel off backing still firmly attached.

The 1980 Winter Olympics, officially "The XIII Olympic Winter Games" and also known as "Lake Placid 1980", were an international multi-sport event held from February 13 to 24, 1980, in Lake Placid, New York, United States.

Lake Placid was elected as the host city for the 1980 Winter Games at the 75th International Olympic Committee (IOC) Session in Vienna, Austria in 1974. This marked the second time the Upstate New York village hosted the Winter Games, after 1932.

The rectangular, white vinyl sticker with black and blue text and image is approx. 12" long x 3-1/8" high. The original, peel off backing, is still firmly attached. There are light signs of handling on edges and corners from storage. Nice piece of world's fair / exposition memorabilia. See images for more details on condition.

NOTE: Piece comes as pictured, unpeeled on it's original backing and is being sold as a collectible only. The sticker's backing has not been removed nor will it be attempted. There is No Guarantee made that the stickers will peel / slide completely or re-stick / mount to to any surface if they are removed from their backing.
