This listing is for an amazing early piece shown.   The wood measures approx 5" long x 1 1/8" across.

2 pieces of wood form a point-ended cigar mold.  Could make nice candle.   There is a metal clasp, appears hand hammered.

Single molds are not common as most folks would not have access to tobacco leaves to "roll their own" but they did exist.   More often the long molds that would mold 15 or 20 cigars are found - these were used in factories to make cigars.

Undated.   circa late 1700s-early/mid 1800s.
CONDITION:  See listing description and photos.
