Period: Edo  (1603-1868)
Material:    Tsuka (Hilt): The hilt is made of wood and is wrapped in black-brown ito (silk wrap).
  　　　　  Fuchi (Collar on Tsuba): The Fuchi are made of shakudo nanakoji (fish-scale pattern) with a horse motif.
  　　　　  Menuki (Sword Ornaments): The sword ornaments are made of shakudo taka-bori (high-relief carving) with a gold-painted    dragon motif.
