GENERAL
I will not accept bids from outside
the UK and my items are not listed to be visible overseas. Too much past trouble with overseas buyers
and postal services.
You are looking at, and hopefully considering bidding for,
the model or model parts described in the listing title and information. Many thanks for your interest and good luck
in your bidding.
I'm selling off most of my model stash for genuine
reasons. I've bought far more stuff than
I will ever be able to build and it's time to be thoroughly ruthless.
I used to be on eBay under another account name - Dasabteilung - but had to open a new one after some hacking problems. Some of you may have bought from me before.
PAYMENT
I only accept payment by PayPal and will only ship to the
address provided by eBay.
I reserve the right to cancel any sale and re-list any
items if payment is not made within 5 days of the auction ending. An Unpaid Item case may be raised with
eBay.
If you win an item and are waiting to bid on others before
paying, please let me know. Also, please
don't pay for multiple items until I've invoiced you with the shipping cost:
it saves on refunds.
CONDITION
Where items are listed as "new" then they are either new and
unopened or have only been opened for inspection and not touched.
Where items are listed as "used" and noted as "pre-owned" then they are as-new but not necessarily in pristine as-new condition. Tatty boxes, opened internal packaging, etc. But all of the contents have been inspected
and are fine.
I have identified where there is anything wrong with the
items that I am aware of, such as incomplete or broken parts, parts
off sprues etc. Anything not in original
packaging is clearly stated to be so.
SHIPPING
I do not ship outside the UK.
Shipping is expensive, and only ever seems to get more so. Sadly, there is nothing I can do about that. I will of course combine shipping as
economically as I can if you win more than 1 item.
Where I can recycle packaging I do, but sometimes I need to
buy suitable packaging and of course I must charge for that. But the one thing I absolutely don't do is
use shipping costs to make an extra buck.
For my own convenience I use UK Royal Mail or Parcelforce
for shipping. Royal Mail is better for
small items up to 2kg. Parcelforce is always tracked and insured, but
this is an option for Royal Mail. For
items where the likely value exceeds the £46 Royal Mail value limit I've
offered the option of their tracked and insured service.
I will send items by cheaper methods if you wish, and I have
offered these also: but you will carry the risk of damage or loss. Because Royal Mail First Class is not insured, I cannot entertain any claims for loss or damage if
you choose those services. If I ship by
a tracked service, I will send you the tracking number.
I will package items as well as I can to minimise the
potential for damage in transit. Boxes
add to the shipping cost but do of course offer better protection than bubble
wrap. If you are happy to take the risk
with bubble wrap to save on shipping costs, please ask. Happy for you to collect in person or to
arrange your own collection.
future listings
I will be listing other items, mostly 1/35 military, over
the next few weeks. There are over 600
individual items to get through, so it will take me a few weeks to list them
all. Some of these may be parts and
accessories for the kits I am listing here.
So please do keep your eyes open for my future listings.
