The KA5 featured dual Cirrus Logic CS43198 DACs, known for their efficiency and their ability to cover with a wide range music in good performance
The KA5 supports up to 32bit/768kHz PCM and Native DSD256 decoding, allowing you to deep dive in listening music, that compatible with wide range devices (Android phones, Computers, Apple iPhones, Tablets, External decoders, etc.)
For better audio performance, the KA5 utilizes a 6-layer immersion-gold PCB as well as high-performance ultra-low noise op amps for robusting the sound
Black, follows the KA series design language. The all-metal construction is combined with futuristic and charismatic elements.
White, the aluminium alloy body was electrophoresis processed, integrated with black and white colors. Feel the delicate texture in your hand.
The aggressive lines of the KA5 give it a bold look, while the carefully designed texture makes it a joy to handle. The dual outputs on the right side of the KA5 hint at its powerful capabilities.
*3.5mm output supports SPDIF output. After enabling the SPDIF output in the settings menu, the USB audio signals can be converted to SPDIF signals. Connect the KA5 to a higher-end external decoder to set up a better audio system.
The OLED display and physical buttons make navigating the settings menu and looking at the playback display more straightforward and intuitive. In addition, the KA5’s built-in MCU processor handles complex operations with ease, further making the KA5 a joy to use.
*Volume buttons A/B mode
A mode: Volume+ button: short press once to increase volume 1 level, long press for 2 seconds to play previous track, and press to go page up in settings menu. Volume– button acts in the opposite way.
B mode: Volume+ button: short press once to increase volume 1 level, long press for 2 seconds to play previous track, and press to go page up in settings menu. Volume– button acts in the opposite way.
Besides the local KA5 operating system, you can use the FiiO Control App to take control over the KA5. Use either method to conveniently dial in the KA5 exactly under your wish.
*The KA5 can only be controlled through the FiiO Control app on an Android device.
Despite the KA5’s compact size, it packs a ton of functionality – such as high and low gain, 5 selectable filters, L/R channel balance, and screen flip, etc., those make the KA5 redefine what a tiny audio dongle can achieve.
The KA5 supports UAC2.0 and UAC1.0 modes. With the UAC 1.0 mode you can connect the KA5 to the Switch and other various devices, allowing you to experience rich and detailed sound effects that make your gaming sessions much more immersive.
*With the KA5 not connected to any device and off, press and hold the multifunction key. While holding the key, connect the KA5 to your desired device to enable UAC 1.0 mode.
The KA5 features a detachable cable design, which allows you to switch between the included custom Type-C and Lightning OTG adapter cables – saving you from having to separately buy cables to freely switch between listening devices.
*Stably compatible with Android, iOS, Windows, and MAC devices
