Australian Book of Furnishing and Decorating by Beryl Guertner. Vintage Hardcover.

Iv'e listed this book as "acceptable" which is the lowest grade on here.

Thats not to say it's all terrible.

The condition is not too bad considering it from 1967 and a former library book.

There's tons of advice about lighting, organising space in rooms to the best advantage, the history of home decorating and the use of colour.

Information, not so dated it isn't relevant now.

The pages are cleaner the more you go into it, although there's still a little damage here and there.

The photography of mid-century modernism interiors is brilliant, and theres handy illustrations and diagrams.

Beryl Guertner was an editor of House and Garden magazine, which featured notable figures in Australian design such as Robin Boyd, Grant Featherston and Harry Seidler.
