0.72ct VS2 Old Mine Cut Diamond Solitaire Engagement Ring Platinum & Certificate
A stunning and extremely eye catching bespoke platinum ring set with an old mine cut (cushion) diamond weighing a huge 0.72ct, with a fabulous clarity grade of VS2 in a 4 claw compass setting.
The ring is a small size N (or size M 3/4 - see photos of measurement) weighs 4.65 grams and the band measures approximately 2.5mm wide.

This stunning bespoke engagement ring features a 0.72ct Old Mine Cut diamond set in a classic platinum solitaire setting. The diamond has a G colour grade and VS2 clarity grade, and has been certified by AGI. The ring is a size M 3/4 - N and can be resized if needed.

This stunning platinum engagement ring features a natural, 0.72ct old mine cut diamond with a VS2 clarity grade and a G colour grade. The solitaire setting showcases the diamond's unique cushion/oval shape and is accented by a 2.5mm band width. The ring is made from 950 parts per 1000 platinum and includes a certificate of authenticity from AGI.
The diamond was weighed and graded loose, prior to mounting in the new platinum ring.
The diamond grading certificate from AGI will be sent with the ring.
This bespoke ring is a unique, one off, custom made piece.
The diamond was removed from an antique 18K gold ring - it is a completely unique diamond and some irregularities will be present in the shape as it is hand cut and not uniform, like modern cut diamonds.
Due to the slightly irregular shape of the diamond, it couldn’t be reset into a regular commercial (mass manufactured) ring, so I decided to opt for this custom made design, which has been made from a 3D scan of another ring from a well known and expensive jeweller. The design allows for the ring to sit flush against another ring and has been made with the option to resize possible.
As this ring has been made to order; the diamond was weighed and graded loose and I have photographs of the diamond loose - before it was set into the ring - so you will be able to see exactly how the diamond looks loose - which isn’t usually something that is available when buying pre-set diamond rings.
The ring is brand new and unworn, however it has been handled for inspection on collection from the jeweller who made the ring for me and then handled again for photographs.
