This is a beautiful antique Victorian circa 1890 sterling silver Scottish agate triskelion brooch. The triskelion has one foot broken off.
The stones are classic orange and mustard jaspers from the Campsie Fells in Stirlingshire, green and red speckled bloodstones from the isle of Rum and a central cabochon of brown and white banded agate from usan on the east coast.
The brooch has no hallmarks which is fairly normal for pieces from this period and has been fully tested and is sterling silver.
The brooch width is 3.1 cm ( one and a quarter inches ) and the pin and C type clasp are original and in good working condition.
