A very stylish English solid sterling silver tumbler cup. It is hallmarked for London 1977 with the makers mark being that of Payne and Son of Oxford. It is been superbly designed having a round base, a copy of an earlier Georgian example designed not to tip on an uneven table top. It is in superb condition being free from dings splits holes and repairs. It measures approx. 2.25 inches (5.8cms) across by 2 inches (5cms) tall and weighs 67 grams. A superbly designed piece.
