Two vintage books:  1952's The Brides Book is a 50 page hardcover book on how to plan a wedding.  Filled with nostalgic topics such as "Your Trousseau", "Home, Hotel or Club Wedding?", it gives you insight into how weddings were planned back in the 1950s. There is a slight separation of the front and back cover binding, but there are no loose pages.  There are three handwritten lines under the "Wedding Gift Records".  The softcover "Bridal Memories" is a companion book from the same era, but this is a fill-in-the-blank pages" book with headings such as "Sparkling Showers", "Exquisite Tokens of Affection".  Both books have period illustrations which are charming.   These books were no doubt given by businesses where brides registered their gift list or shopped for their wedding gowns (Dobnoff's  and  Coastal Radio Service, both businesses located in Allentown, Easton, Bethlehem).
