This early bronze 1900s sculpture depicts an American Indian Scout peering intently into the distance and is signed "C. Kauba," a noted Austrian sculptor who lived from 1865-1922.

The dark chocolate color statue rests on a brown marble base. The finely detailed feathered head dress is remarkable. Artist Carl Kauba is justly famous for his sculptures of the American West. This work of art is very natural and realistic and stands 8" tall, including the base.

This sculpture is in excellent condition and does not have the green tarnish that other antique bronze sculptures do; it was well taken care of.
