I’ve finally decided to sell my very rare, early1990s Corima Puma - arguably one of the most unique and beautiful monocoque racing frames ever made and a true piece .of cycling design history. I last raced it in 2002 at the Salford Triathlon and it has been very little used since. It’s been on a turbo trainer recently (as you can see from the rear tyre) but again, barely used at all. It’s very clean bar the odd, small paint chip and some light stress cracks in the paint, all visible in photos. The components are decent (top of the range in their day) and in excellent condition but obviously over 20 years old and so the real value is in the extraordinary frame.
Whilst a great ride (with serious acceleration) I would say this is a bike for a collector or enthusiast rather than something to use as your weekend steed! Although it really does turn heads and spark conversation wherever it goes so it’s always tempting to take it out!
I’ve seen these bikes go for anything from £1,500 to an awful lot more over the years (there is one currently listed at £1,699 Buy it Now) . I’m very happy to consider reasonable offers before the auction ends and if you’re seriously interested in buying, I can send a walkaround video or more photos. I’m based near Eyemouth, Scotland and the bike is collection only. Many thanks for looking! Nick
