Device from customer return The W-1200 is a double cassette deck with two disposable cassette decks, microphone mixer, a USB digital output and other versatile recording options. Recently, cassettes have fascinated even those who have never used them before, thanks to their warm, distinctly analog sound, ease of recording, and ability to create "mix tapes." We set out to develop a cassette deck that combines an excellent level of performance with an interface that fits into the era of digital audio playback. The W-1200 not only offers sound close to the original, but also a wide range of versatile functions that enable karaoke singing, recording conference minutes and even digital recording of analog cassettes via a computer. The cassette decks both support recording and playback as they have independent drive mechanisms... Owners can record on both decks at the same time to create a pair of identical tapes at the same time. With the microphone input and the microphone mixer you can practice your karaoke singing via a cassette or an external sound source (via LINE IN). TEAC's decades of experience in producing recording devices can of course also be found in the W-1200, particularly in relation to the noise reduction system. It allows users to play back older cassettes originally recorded with Dolby B NR and hear them correctly. In addition, the pitch control allows you to adjust the playback speed to your desired values, while the included level meters allow you to fine-tune the recording levels. A timer recording/playback function allows the use of a third-party audio timer. Additionally, the W-1200 can transmit CD-quality digital audio (up to 48 kHz / 16-bit PCM) to a computer via a USB cable, enabling digital archiving of your cassette library. Once you digitize these on a computer, you can enjoy your old tape-based music library anytime, anywhere via a network player, DAP, smartphone or even in your car. With a high level of fidelity combined with advanced digital technologies, the W-1200 sets a new standard for dual cassette decks today.
