This neat, quite uncommon, Japanese Naval mail was sent on February 16, 1910from a Japanese sailor serving aboard the unprotected cruiser, H.I.J.M. "Takao!" The ship was visiting Shimizu Port, Shizuoka Prefecture at the time of writing. The addressee was kin or a friend in the same prefecture.

To continue, as for the lilac, 1.5-Sen Japanese postal stationery card, it's in fair-good condition The CDS from the Shimizu P.O. is superb! The receiving cancel(2/16/10) from the Fujieda P.O. is also quite nice!

Lastly, as for the postal stationery card, itself, it's in poor-fair condition. There are some heavy stains on either side. There is some noticeable wear and tear around the top. Noted imperfections aside, this is still a nifty piece of Imperial Japanese Naval postal history! The, "Takao," would be scrapped in March of 1912.
