My first books were by Dr. Seuss, and one of my favorites was "McElligot's Pool", AND the favorite illustration in it was of the fish that "Likes Flowers"!! WHEW!! A long way of saying that this wonderful painting reminds me of that fish, but this one appears to be flying over moon lit waters with the moon as a ballon!! This oil on canvas is in MINT condition with no damage and it is signed but I cannot decipher it!! The first name may be "Ruth" or "Roth", and I have no idea as to the last although it appears to end in "s"!! Approx. 20" X 16" in size!!
