- AN EXCELLENT CONDITION, TOP GRADE 19 JEWEL "EXTREME THIN" SOLID 18K YELLOW & WHITE GOLD TOUCHON 42 MM W/ ADJUSTED LEVER ESCAPEMENT
Today I have the honor of offering a top grade open face gents' pocket watch which measures 42mm in diameter, Yellow & White 18K OF original case made by Touchon, Stemwind, Stemset, Black Enamel & Gold Dial signed for retailer BLACK, STARR & FROST on the front of the dial with "EXTRA" signed 19 jewel capped lever escapement with very fine compensating balance, full gold timing screws, gold train, fine pallet, blued steel HS with isochronal overcoil, fine regulator; movement is also signed for Touchon making this quite an interesting piece.
Strong Running Order and keeping time, good balance motion, good poise, plates show no damage, mint slots & settings, no oxide on bright work, mint winding wheels; dial perfect; fancy hands are mint; original very heavy gauge case shows virtually no wear, tight lids, few MFS; signed bow is fine and tight, crown shows virtually no wear; perfect glass crystal; a truly great example of a gentlemen's Touchon
