Selling my beloved 661.

I have owned several lower-watt units such as Sherwood 7200, Marantz 2020b, HK330b, and Noresco 2660 (AKA Rotel 600a.) However, this Sansui is pecial. In fact it sounds more musical than the SX-780 I sold last week. Sure the 780 has more bass but the 661 has better tonality /sound. It's warmer ,more airy, it is closer in sound to the sx-737 (I also own hehe)

I have owned the Sansui 331, 551, 771 and the 331 comes closest in comparison to the 661. The only difference is the 661 sounds more powerful as it punches above its 20-watt rating.

The receiver has typical signs of wear /tear being 50 + years young. Slight vinyl cracking on the top right and left corners. It's nothing major and can probably be carefully glued. Other than that the unit is fully functional with a great phono section. Listening to vinyl through this receiver is a nice treat, especially Jaz, classic rock.

I am sad to see it go… but I'm honestly blessed with great gear I really like and have no place for this little feller anymore. I can't keep it all
