ANGELA SARKISYAN (1913 Giumishkhane - 1996 Yerevan),  Armenian listed, graduated the Geghardtechnikum (Gehard Art College) in 1930 and from Moscow's Art Institute in 1940, has been exhibited in the former Soviet Union since 1939, worked as a pedagog and in 1963 was awarded the Republic's Pedagog Merit award, she worked intensively in print art also book illustrations,  illustrated Pushkin's poems.  References: ANGELA SARKISYAN, booklet published in 1971 by the Artists Union of Armenia, ARMENIA'S WOMEN ARTISTS, exhibition brochure, 1975, and ARMENIAN ARTISTS, CONCISE DICTIONARY, 1977.
