Japanese Tamba-ware.  It's an absolutely Staunning Masterpiece.
The thick and heavy striped pattern on the plate has a complex finish that gives it a rusty or burnt appearance, emphasizing its extremely solid feel. This is something that can no longer be expressed in words.
This appearance is perfectly Japanese "Wabi-Sabi".

It especially enhances the plating of Pasta, Salads and also Sweets.

Only less than 20 pieces of this type of plate are produced per a year, making it a rare gem.
Miraculously, I was able to purchase just one.

It will be carefully packed and shipped.
All of our tableware shipments are shipped with tracking.

[about Tamba-ware]
Tamba-ware is one of the six oldest kilns in Japan, known as the "Six Ancient Kilns of Japan". There are more than 50 potteries in the Tamba area, all of which are handmade.
Due to traditional techniques and full handmade, the number of production is extremely small.

[Precautions for Use]
1: Placing directly on the table or dragging it may damage the table, so we recommend using a rug.
2: Since pottery is water absorbent, it is recommended to soak it in water for several hours when using it for the first time, and then wipe it lightly after soaking it in water. Helps prevent stains such as oils and seasonings.
3: If left for a long time after use, it will be difficult to remove dirt, so please wash it as soon as possible and rinse it well.
4: Although it is possible to use the dishwasher, we recommend hand washing as much as possible.
As there is no information on dishwashers outside of Japan, we do not recommend using a dishwasher.
5: Avoid using the microwave for a long time.
6: Do not use in an oven or open flame.
