I have here for sale a book entitled COOK'S HANDBOOK FOR EGYPT AND THE SUDAN by E A Wallis Budge of the British Museum.  It is a second edition published in 1906 by Thomas Cook & Son, London.  It has 9 colour maps in total, including a larger one in the front pouch.  The maps are of Egypt and Sinai; Alexandria; The Suez Canal; Cairo; The Nile - Delta; The Nile - Cairo to Kena; The Nile - Kena to Aswan; The Nile - Aswan to Wadi Halfa; and The Nile: Wadi Halfa to Khartum.  Illustrated throughout in b/w.  

Black cloth limp hardboards with gilt title lettering to the front and spine.  Boards in fine condition.  Side of front pouch is detached.  Inscriptions to the front endpaper and a couple of pencil notes to the title page.  Pages clean and firm throughout.  911 pages, plus a few adverts.  17 cm x 12 cm.
