Faux Leather Fringe is made from used bicycle inter tubes with bronze wire wrapping  around the fringe and forming the French wires. 

Alexis Ellers finds, cleans, and cuts the used bicycle inter tubes into fringe for the earrings.

I bought these earrings in 2010 and have rarely wore them..
