It works  with my purchased Windows 8.1 Professional ( cant tell if it can take Windows 10 or higher), but be aware that it is a little bit slow (it needs sometime to start the youtube clip). I did not try  Linux. 

I also did not manage to get the maximum resolution of his screen in Windows, it probably needs a driver. I have done all the latest Windows Updates to date. It's with a hard drive, not an SSD but I don't know if it's worth it for someone to make the change .

It has a peculiarity  that the connection plug 

with the power supply is external with a cable that goes into the device. 

Also its battery is dead, it only lasts a minute or two.
