I have here for sale a book entitled POEMS FROM SHELLEY selected and arranged by Stopford A. Brooke from the works of Percy Bysshe Shelley and published by Macmillan London, 1880. A collection of work by Shelley, consisting of some of his most praised works, some extracted from the whole, others presented in full. This book is arranged by poem topic, with topics including, Poems on Death, Poems on Time and its Changes, Songs of Love, and Poems of Pure Nature.

Percy Bysshe Shelley (4 August 1792 – 8 July 1822) was a British writer, considered to be one of the major English Romantic poets. A radical in his poetry as well as in his political and social views, Shelley did not achieve fame during his lifetime, but in recent decades he has achieved increasing critical acclaim.

Bound in blue hardboards with gilt illustration to the front board and gilt lettering spine. Lightly bumped to head and tail of spine. Binding slightly pulling throughout. Pen inscription to front free endpaper, otherwise pages clean. The book is in fine overall condition.  340 pages.  17 cm x 11 cm.

Postage will be by Air Mail outside of UK.  If you buy more than one item then the postage cost falls for the second and further items as I will put them into one parcel - so you save money. We wrap and post the parcels on Monday and Tuesday - therefore if you pay before midday on Tuesday we will get it in the postal sacks on Tuesday night, and if it is after that time then it will go into the postal service on the following Monday.
