Columbine Touring Bike Frame set 49cm Ive added a picture of a photograph from the 1980s with this frame fully loaded
This is a top notch 1980's Columbine made for touring with all the bing bongs
The fenders were painted with the frame as was the silca frame pump
49cm x 53cm center to center
Made of Reynolds 531 with Beautiful Chrome lugs, Braze-ons everywhere
3 sets of water bottle brazeons, 1 set under the downtube near the BB shell
Comes with Dura Ace headset and Phil wood Bottom Bracket in early Campy taper, also comes with the top level XC Power Rollercam rear brake and Shimano Deore XT "Deerhead" cantilever brakes in the front. The bike was made specifically for these brakes
This is set up for touring or commuting, all ready to receive fenders and racks,
This was built in the early 80s so you wont be putting 45's on it, tire wise.
Rear Spacing is 126 Originally built for 6-7 speed
Brake bridge is inside measurement ad the fork is width inside so that gives an idea of tire size
The flaws are extremely minor and the finish is very vivid, pearlescent/ iridescent Its a hard one to describe but, the paint is very excellent quality.
I do not have the capabilities of doing geometry workups currently, if it doesnt sell perhaps I will get the time eventually but we are a 2 person operation already at capacity and listing a ton of frames and new parts almost daily. So I get them listed and hung up. If there is anything I can answer I will but there is a lot I wont be able to and pulling frames for weights or certain questions will not be able to happen. Apologies in advance. We understand that this may mean you will not buy the frame. Thats just where we are at atm.
