1669 Berkshire, Wantage, Richard Stamp, Halfpenny Token, W.159, N.234

A nice example of this scarce 17th century token. Worn but reasonably well detailed.

O: RICHARD STAMP around cable inner circle, fleur-de-lis within.

R: IN WANTAGE 1669 around cable inner circle, HIS HALF PENY and RSA within.

This token is listed in Dickinson as Berkshire 159 and in Norweb as N.234. I would grade this token Fine (Sheldon VF20) I have provided high-resolution close up photos so you can decide on a grade for yourself.
