Iconic -Denver Diecast Military  1:48 Scale/"O" Guage  1947 Dodge Power Wagon - New in Box (NIB)!

This listing is for Menard's-Denver Diecast Military 1947 Dodge Power Wagon. The Dodge Power Wagon is a four-wheel drive medium duty truck that was produced in various model series from 1945 to 1980 by Dodge, but known for it's tough military use. It is a true 1/48 scale and has lots of detail. The undercarriage shows a ton of detail including the frame, front and rear suspension systems, the transfer case with two drive shafts to each of the two drive axles, the bottom of the engine and transmission, and gas tank. On the exterior there is a front mounted winch, spare tire, and the iconic red Jerry can.

Dodge marketed this truck as the WDX truck. Until about 1960 it was internally known by its engineering code T137 – a name still used for the original series by enthusiasts. This officially licensed 1:48 Scale 1947 Dodge® Power Wagon is highly detailed and looks like it came straight from sales with its black running boards and the army green paint job! These tough trucks were quite common from the late 1940s and throughout the 1950s.

Features

It has been said that amateurs study tactics, while professionals study logistics. You can have the largest army in the world, but if it can’t get food, ammo, medical supplies, or fuel when needed, disaster will result. The Second World War was epic in scale and a vast industrial base supplied the Allies. One of the greatest weapons in the arsenal of victory was the venerable "Power Wagon."

Following Chrysler Corporation policy of badge engineering to provide a greater number of sales outlets overseas, Power Wagons were also marketed around the world under the Fargo and De Soto badges. The Power Wagon is a terrific addition to your fleet of O gauge military fleet!

Amazingly, a lot of eBay sellers play games with shipping costs, either jacking them up to increase sales or hiding them in the item price so they can show free shipping. We know nothing is free. Our shipping costs only include a small amount for packaging supplies and add nothing for handling, which keeps our shipping rates low. We ship USPS First Class with an option for Priority Mail.

For domestic purchases only we combine shipping and the shipping cost will be $2.25 for each additional eligible diecast item purchased from us.

Now shipping worldwide using eBay International Shipping. Currently no combined shipping on international purchases, at least until we work out how it can be done. If you want to purchase more than one item, send me a message and I can put up a listing for you.
