The condition is excellent as pictured, it was recently cleaned and oiled for protection. Vintage English steel, much stronger than on the newer tools.

This one is a  medium sized shovel , suitable possibly for garden or general building use. 98cm long with a 24cm wide head as pictured. 

 No damage to the wood shaft, no signs of worm. Strong wood handle, no movement.
