This neat, uncommon cover from a sailor(likely an officer, as he used a customized envelope with the warship's name on it!) serving aboard the H.M.S. Edgar, was sent on October 10, 1894, from Salonich, Ottoman Empire, to Lancashire, England! The addressee was a Reverend J.W. Baron, Trawden Vicarage, Colne. The, Edgar, was an Edgar-class, protected cruiser launched in late November, 1890.

To continue, the gray-blue, 1-Piaster, definitive for Austrian Offices in the Ottoman Empire is in great condition! The cancel from the Salonich P.O. is excellent!! The receiving cancel(10/15(16)/1894) from the Colne P.O. is quite fine, too!

Lastly, as for the condition of the envelope, itself, it is superb! It's very clean! The back flap is intact. Simply put, this is a very attractive, unique piece of British Naval, Austrian, and Ottoman Empire postal history!
