This is a neat, uncommon, color PC of ships being unloaded at Swakopmund Port sent on February 27, 1911, from Swakopmund, German South West Africa, to a friend or relative serving on the S.M.S. Wurttemberg, Flensberg, Germany! The sender was staying at he Germania Hotel there in Swakopmund! The mail had to be forwarded twice.

To continue, outside of some gum residue around some perfs, the green, 5-Pfennig, German South West African definitive is in very fine shape! The S.O.N. cancel from the Swakopmund P.O. is very nice, but a bit light/faded in some areas.

Lastly, as for the condition of the post card, it is pretty good for something over 113 years old. It's pretty clean. There is some wear and tear around the edges, mainly around the corners. There are also two, noticeable scuffs on the front, likely connected to the card having been in an album in the past. Noted imperfections aside, this is still a nifty piece of German Naval, and German South West African, postal history!
