Cover by Lee Elias. Stories and art by Lee Elias and Bob Haney. As the Silver Age gets going, Harvey revives former horror/western/sci-fi comic Black Cat and its original star, an early female superhero. While tracking a jewel-thieving ex-vaudeville clown through Hollywood, Black Cat encounters Hollywood legends Lucille Ball, Humphrey Bogart, Bud Abbott and Lou Costello. The Black Cat matches wits with Mago the Magician, in a story possibly written by early female comics writers Blanche Carlin or Bev Suser, and featuring cameos by Hollywood legends Bob Hope, Frank Sinatra and Red Skelton. A spurned actress seeks revenge in another tale full of star cameos, including Cary Grant, Bette Davis, Judy Garland and Jean Harlow. Black Magic; Native Uprising; Judo Tricks; Sun Valley Treachery; How Good a Detective Are You?; The Queen of Cats; Funny Business at the Fair; The Phony Crusade; Crimson Madness. Final issue of the series, after 17 years and seven changes in format/genre. 68 pages, full color.
