Conditions
Shipping Costs: Shipping cost to be listed in the ad and paid at the auction's
conclusion. If shipping is not listed, you may inquire and I can provide that
information to you during the auction proceeding. I reserve the right to cancel any bid if the bidder’s feedback is
poor. A small handling charge is added to the shipping cost. This is to
cover the cost of shipping materials; and if needed, the cost for insurance. All books sold in the U.S. will be shipped
using Media Mail. I ship packages Monday through Friday.
Saturday shipments are made only under special request.
I have found Parcel Post to be extremely slow these days,
especially traveling across the country.
If you need the item quickly, please select priority mail. Sometimes UPS is quicker than Parcel Post
I usually ship the day after
payment is received but list 3 days to accommodate UPS pickups, weekend
purchases, or unexpected delays.
I will request a signature on UPS or FEDEX shipments. If you do not want me to include a signature,
please let me know at the time of payment.
No Pickups
unless stated in the ad. If pickup is stated in the
ad, it must be made within 14 days of the auction’s end date. If you need additional time, you must call me
prior to the auction’s end to make arrangements. If pick up is not made, the item will be
re-listed.
Multiple Auction Wins: Multiple auction wins can be
shipped together to save on the cost as long as it does not compromise the
safety of the other items in the box. Please let me know ahead of time if you
will be purchasing multiple items. This
saves time and effort in packaging your items.
International Buyers: I do not and will not
falsify customs forms with lowered or raised values, contents, etc. International
buyers are responsible for and agree to pay all duties, customs taxes and fees.
Paypal is required on all
international shipments. A handling charge is added to all shipments. Please be aware that when shipping first
class international mail, delivery can take 4 – 6 weeks due to customs
delay. First class international mail is
the cheapest form of small parcel shipping overseas at the same time as being
the slowest to arrive. If speedy
delivery is a must, I can ship priority mail.
Connecticut Sales Tax: Winning bidders who live in Connecticut must
pay the 6% sales tax. This is added to
the cost of shipping. Connecticut
Dealers must provide Sales & Use Tax Resale Certificate.
Contact Info: I will contact you at the end of the auction
with an invoice. If payment is not
received in 2 days, a friendly reminder will be issued; after 3 days, an EBAY
WARNING will be issued and the item will be re-listed.
Return Policy: Clothing,
Shoes, books, and furniture are not returnable and non-refundable. Other items can be returned. Please notify me immediately upon receipt, if
a return is needed. Return items within
7 days of delivery date. All returns
must be returned in excellent condition with delivery confirmation. A refund
will be made after the item is returned.
