Very rare veteran or early vintage Ruthardt (CAV) 

type 4H2 twin cylinder 50 degree V-Twin magneto

In good solid original condition and still produces a good

blue spark when spun over by hand (See picture 2)

The cam ring is definitely for a 50 degree twin as the lobes

are 155 and 205 degrees apart respectively before the points 

arm makes contact.

Anti-Clockwise rotation looking at the drive end

30mm spindle centre height so likely would have had

a 5mm spacer / mounting plate attached to the base of

the magneto to bring it up to the standard 35mm height.

There is a small crack in the front casing (See picture 4)

but its nothing detrimental to the magneto and all operates

as it should with no issues.

Both threaded pickups are good and intact as can be seen
