The Book Measures Approx; 14.5cm by 21.5cm and contains 609 pages and all 43 illustrations including the illustrated frontis and title that still bears the original 1837 first printing date.

The book is complete with no loss.
There is the usual foxing present on the illustrated plates.
The text pages and endpapers are generally clean and free of foxing.
There is a previous owners name on the first blank endpaper and some scuffing to the first marbled endpaper.

The half leather bindings are in a good general condition, a little rubbing to the edges and bumping/chipping at the corner points.
There is some cracking to the joints (top joint approx 50%) along with some obvious wear to the spine fascia.
