CARECO DAYTONA

The Daytona XLR is a great big scooter.

And I mean that in both senses of the word 'great'.

It is a 'great big' scooter; a full sized, Class 3, on or off road scooter, weighing 140kgs, with a carrying capacity of 180kgs.

It's also a 'great' big scooter; a machine that will take you, (within reason!), almost anywhere, in great comfort and if looked after will last you years.

You can use the Daytona XLR as a pavement scooter and it does that job very well, but it comes into its own on roads and especially off road.

It's not specifically marketed as a 'full on' off roader, but gosh it's capable.

Those huge diameter wheels and unfashionable high profile tyres, combined with the suspension, give amazing ride quality and with the class leading ground clearance it makes the Daytona XLR a real off road 'weapon'.

If you like visiting National Trust properties with their unmade tracks, like to get round you local park, or enjoy forest trails, then the Daytona XLR is a great choice.

The ground clearance is exceptional too, so tree roots and large bumps and potholes which could leave you stuck on a lesser machine, are no trouble to the Daytona XLR. This is a SERIOUSLY capable scooter.

I have lost sales before because I have advised a prospective buyer that the item they intended to buy from me was not suitable for their particular needs.

I would rather do that than sell an unsuitable item to you.

Mobility Scooters and Chairs are a very complicated subject, they come in a HUGE variety of different types and sizes and people do too, so matching one to the other requires knowledge and experience. I have both.

I've lost count of the number of first time buyers I've met, who have gone into their local mobility shop and been sold 'this week's special' by some slick suited sales person, whose only concern is shifting units and hitting their sales targets.

A couple of days later they realise the scooter or chair they've been pressured into buying is wholly unsuitable for them.

We don't work like that.
