This week I'm offering a variety of collectibles, including trading cards as well as comics. Marvel reached its peak of popularity and creativity during what's known as the "Silver Age" of comics - the Sixties and early Seventies. By the end of the Sixties, Marvel took a further step and delved into the world of Sword and Sorcery fantasy, adapting the classic Robert E. Howard character Conan the Barbarian. The character was an instant and huge hit, and so Marvel went back for a second dip into Robert E. Howard's library - and produced a comic based on the adventures of King Kull, who was a somewhat earlier tryout version of Conan that Howard had created in the Twenties. Marvel's series was well-illustrated and a lot of fun. Here I have Kull the Destroyer #22, dated August 1977! It's in very fine condition overall - see scans for condition. This would be a terrific addition to any collection! Shipping is $3.00 for First Class Mail, and I'll combine and discount shipping costs for multiple winnings. Payment is via PayPal only.
