This week I'm offering a variety of collectibles, including trading cards as well as comics. During the Seventies, DC continued to offer new characters in an effort to expand their brand (and to compete with Marvel). One of their more successful ventures was the character of Warlord, the creation of writer/artist Mike Grell, who drew very much in the style of the legendary Neal Adams. The character of Warlord borrowed heavily from Edgar Rice Burroughs' character of John Carter of Mars, and visually looked like a close relative of the Green Arrow. In any case, the series had a long and successful run, and the character continues to be revived every few years. Here I have Warlord #27, dated November 1979. It's in very fine plus condition - see scans for condition. This would be a terrific addition to any collection! Shipping is $3.50 for First Class Mail, and I'll combine and discount shipping costs for multiple winnings. Payment is via PayPal only.
