This week I'm offering a number of old non-sport cards from various vintage sets. The Exhibit card company issued large quantities of these 3 ½ x 5 ½ blank-backed photo cards on heavy card stock, sold in penny arcade machines throughout the nation, from the mid-1930s (if not earlier) to the mid-1960s. Because this issue can't be dated precisely, I have to take an educated guess regarding the date of issue. One of the more popular issues is the "Blue Cowgirl" series, issued in the late Forties and early Fifties, a set of 32 blue-tinted cards showing various actresses dressed up in Western clothes. The set includes some actresses not known for doing Westerns, but it's a very attractive set, and, at 32 easily identifiable cards, one of the easier Exhibit sets to complete. This card features actress Ellen Drew. It's in very nice shape (see scan for condition). This would be a terrific addition to any collection! Shipping is $3.50 for First Class Mail, and postage will be combined for multiple winnings.
