This week I'm offering a number of old non-sport cards from various vintage sets. The Exhibit card company issued large quantities of these 3 ½ x 5 ½ blank-backed photo cards on heavy card stock, sold in penny arcade machines throughout the nation, from the mid-1930s (if not earlier) to the mid-1960s. Because this issue can't be dated precisely, I have to take an educated guess regarding the date of issue. One of the more popular issues is the "Cowboy" series, issued in one form or another from the Twenties through the Sixties. Often utilizing the same photos but printed in a number of different colors over the years, these cards reflected the incredible ongoing fascination kids everywhere had with the Old West. This card, probably dating from the Forties, features legendary Western actor Roy Rogers, and it's tinted blue. The card is in very nice shape, and it's highly collectible (see scan for condition). This would be a terrific addition to any collection! Shipping is $3.50 for First Class Mail, and postage will be combined for multiple winnings.
