Panzer Division. Eastern Front Battles. Punched. Complete. Zip-lock.
The
game: Recreates on an operational scale some of the major battles that took
place in the Soviet Union during World War II. The game attempts to simulate in
a realistic manner the tactics and operations of armored warfare. The rules are
organized into a series of five “instructive” scenarios, each introducing new
terms and procedures which build on the experience of the previous ones. Scenarios
6-20 span the years 1941 through 1945. Five optional rules introduce more
realism and complexity: supply, fuel, paratroops, variable reserves, and
weather. One hexagon = 1000 meters; one turn = 15 minutes; one unit counter =
one company, battery, or battalion. The Piker Game Company, 1977. Design: S. R.
Lorenz.
