Most particularly the Speeches of many of the Lords, upon the several Articles of Impeachment, before their Lordships gave Judgement in Westminster Hall;

which are not taken Notice of in the Tryal, or in any other Book yet published.

Recent full leather binding by Brian Matthews, gilt titles on maroon label, raised bands, blind stamped detail to the compartments, blind stamped panelling to the upper and lower boards, speckled page edges. Three folding plans, all intact with marginal closed tears to the join with the volume – see images.

Small ex-library stamp to the base of 4 pages – page1, page 408, page 216 and the second to last page of the contents.

Approximately 7 ¾ inches tall.

Externally

• Spine – good condition – gilt title on maroon label, 5 raised gilt edges bands, blind stamped detail to the compartments.
• Joints – good condition – very gently rubbed and worn.
• Corners – good condition – gently bumped.
• Boards – good condition – full leather boards bound by Brian Matthews, blind stamped panelling to both, couple of minor nick in the leather along the bottom edge of the upper board, both boards have some black spotting.
• Page edges – good condition – top edge slightly darkened, all speckled.

Internally

• Hinges – good condition – sound.
• Paste downs – good condition – plain, the book binders label is pasted in the bottom left hand corner of the rear paste down.
• End papers – good condition – plain, subsequent end papers tanned and foxed.
• Title – good condition – tanned and foxed.
• Pages – good condition – 12 page dedication, 3 complete intact fold out plans, tanned and foxed throughout, 4 small ex library stamps for Warrington Municipal Library.
• Binding – good condition.
