Here is a group of 5 unique vintage postcards: 3 made of wood, 1 leather, and 1 hygroscope weather card.

I have placed a ruler in some pictures for size reference. Postcards are approx. 5 3/8" - 6" across.

Some used, some unused. Overall good condition, range of wear and aging. No musty or smoke odor.

- Leather postcard, unused. Simply has impressed on the one side "Post Card This Side For Address Only" and has a square for a stamp. Light wear and rubs along the edges, and a small dark spot on one side.

- Hygroscope postcard, unused. Has instructions printed on the front and back. This "Weather Puppy" has a flocked hat that was supposed to change color in certain weather conditions. Untested, I do not know if it still works. This card was an Ocean City, N.J. souvenir. It has some edge wear, light crease; and the tips have creases and some peels, and one lower tip surface has chipped off. There are little rubs on the hat, and there is a light dent below the brim.

- Yucca Wood postcard, used. Has a hand painted desert scene. There are black crayon scribbles on the back. The card is slightly warped, more wear, rubs, creases at the tips.

- Wood postcard, unused. Humorous husband and wife scenes. There is a string hanger through 2 holes for hanging as a plaque. Printed in Japan. Light surface scratches on the front, light water stains on the back.

- Wood postcard, used. Humorous man walking a dog scene. There is a string hanger through 2 holes for hanging as a plaque. This card has writing on the back and a postmark and .04 cent stamp. Light wear and fading to the front design, slight warping, brown foxing on the back.
