No reserve on this very, very scarce, original 1992 publication “SLOT CAR Mechanic”/”How to build a faster motor”/”The Motor Book” by Cliff Wheeler. Measures approximately 5 ½ by 8 ½-inches and has twenty pages of text, photos, artwork and diagrams and there’s a full-page Magnatech Slot Racing Products advertisement. The book’s focus is on 1/32-scale and 1/24-scale. I found this book in a big box of slot car bodies, chassis, parts and pieces and controllers that had been sitting forgotten since the mid-‘90s. Everything was a bit dusty and worn and the booklet’s orange covers do show some light wear, smudges and scuffs, as you can probably see in the photos. There are no loose or torn pages and there’s no writing or scribbles to be found and it has a tight staple-binding. Lots of useful slot car motor information here. Excellent reference material and makes a terrific addition to any collection or slot car library! In addition, there are five mint-condition 1970s-vintage Hot Slots Raceway 1^st Place, 2^nd Place, 3^rd Place and Bracket Drags winner plates in various bright colors. Looks and feels like they are made from a thin aluminum, perhaps. The plates measure approximately 1 7/8-inches by 3 7/8-inches each. Again, the scarce “SLOT CAR Mechanic”/”How to build a faster motor”/”The Motor Book” is in very nice condition but isn’t mint while the five Hot Slots Raceway Bracket Drags winner plates are all in unused, mint condition, as very clearly noted above and as shown in the many photos.
