Vintage Art Deco Red & Black Straw Embroidered Ribbon Cloche Hat

This vintage Art Deco red and black straw embroidered ribbon flapper cloche hat dates from the 1920s. It is made of a red woven straw with black woven straw trim edging around the bottom brim, navy blue red flossing decorative V stitched embroidered accents and a black silk grosgrain ribbon hatband bow on the side. This fabulous flapper girl style cloche hat is form fitting with an asymmetrical upturned brim front side and is unlined except for a red silk ribbon trim sweatband sewn inside. The hat measures 21 1/2 inches inside crown circumference. It is in good condition, with only a few faint tiny white spots on the red straw front. This is truly an amazing piece of Art Deco millinery wearable art!
