Edwardian White Lace Cream Wool Ruched Trim Bodice Blouse Top

This antique Edwardian era white lace cream wool ruched trim bodice blouse top dates from 1910. It is made of white lace with connecting thread picot ornamented bars and a cream color challis fine wool ruched trim. This lovely lace bodice blouse has a scalloped hem cotton peplum skirted waist, asymmetrical ruched wool trim with decorative tiny silk button accents, gathered button trim short sleeves, hook closures down the back and is lined in a sheer white silk fabric. The top measures 15 inches long, 19 inches long with the additional cotton skirted bottom, a 38 inch bust and 24 inch waist. It is in good as-is condition, with some frayed splits on the inside silk lining, a few tiny moth hole nips on the wool trim and faint discoloration on the silk button trim (see close-ups). This is truly a wonderful piece of antique lace wearable art!
