THANK YOU for considering our ripping and running, clean and finely preserved collectible condition but needing servicing Elgin 16 size, open face, 17 jewels, Model 7, Class 110, Grade 387, Breguet hairspring, ¾ nickel plate, stem wind, pendant set fancy dress movement, dial and hands. This fine and collectible Elgin Model 7 movement is in mostly excellent working order, with a dead flat and true balance wheel motion that has a fine, wide arc and strong, steady beat. The movement is a smooth wind, but it does not wind at the stem, or set, either, and needs a minor looking at. The movement holds excellent time but is just in and has not been further regulated or adjusted. As for appearance this movement is looking terrific, with nice, bright and clean 100% oxide-free spiral-style winding wheels, shiny bright and clean nickel plates with close to all of the delicate original black inlaid engraving paint intact, pristine and correct Moseley "traveling nut" regulator needle and index, very clean looking inside and around the sides, and ripping and running strong and true!! The movement shows very slight and ordinary wear only with no abuse. The dial is a single sunk metallic with black Breguet Arabic numerals and a black outer "railroad track" minute chapter on a bold gold field and showing very light upper toning only. The hands are gfancy blue matching whip and perfect for this make and model, which will be a great acquisition for the lucky top bidder! Please examine each photo carefully for further details, as the photos control over this written description. We offer a return policy, so bid with confidence and Bid Today!
