10x high magnification super telephoto zoom that covers from standard 50mm to super telephoto 500mm. Equipped with an image stabilization OS mechanism, it is possible to take handheld shots of snapshots, macro shots, aircraft, motor sports, etc.
Adopts four SLD (Special Low Dispersion) glass elements to effectively correct chromatic aberration. Demonstrates high depiction performance throughout the entire zoom range. Equipped with HSM, achieving faster AF speed and quieter operation. Full-time manual focus is also possible. By attaching the separately sold APO TELE CONVERTER, you can take super telephoto shots of 1000mm.
