This is a vintage General Electric Model 402 AM radio that was made in the USA in the 1950s. It features vacuum tube technology and is part of GE's product line of AM radios. The radio has a replacement plug, but the original 75 year old cord, that's a bit stiff. When plugged in and warmed up, there is a loud humming noise. AM stations can be found, but the hum all but drowns them out. Replacing the 75 year old capacitors would likely fix the humming issue. The good news is that the radio is in excellent cosmetic condition. A relatively simple repair job, would result in an outstanding example of a model 402. The radio is 13" by 9" by 6.5" and weighs 7 lbs 3oz.
The radio is being sold "AS IS".
